Material Storage/ RSP/ Hazmat Technician
Location: Kandahar & Bagram Airfields Afghanistan
SALLYPORT is seeking folks with a background from Air force, Army, Marine or Navy with Material management background or 2S0XX MOS. Must have a current DOD secret clearance. This will be a 1 year assignment in Afghanistan. 2 paid R&R blocks 15 days each. Must possess enterprise solution supply experience. These are for immediate deployments The technician is responsible for the inventory, storage and movement of material. The technician is also responsible for the handling and processing of hazardous material. Send resume for immediate consideration.
Shall have sufficient experience with ES-S and Air Force RSP to enable them to execute the services required by the contract.
Shall possess a 4K, 6K and 10K forklift license.
Shall be familiar with manual and automated supply accounting systems, AFI 23-101 Chap 5, Sect 5C; AFMAN 23-122, Chap 5 Sect 5C; AFH 23-123 Vol 2 Part 1, Chap 5, Sect 5C policies and procedures; AFI 23-101 para 1.2.2, AFMAN 23-122/5.3.3, AFI 21-101, AFI 90-821 AFI 327086, Hazardous Materials Management, 1 November 2004, AFJMAN 23-209, Storage and Handling of Hazardous Material, provides guidance in the control, storage, and handling of hazardous commodities, AFI 91-203, AFH 23-123, Vol 2, part 1/5.2.14, note 8 AFJMAN 23-210, policies and procedures; AFI 23-101 Chap 2, Sect 2F; AFMAN 23-122, Chap 2, Sect 2F; AFH 23-123 Vol 2 Part 1, Sect 2F policies and procedures.
Shall present a neat, professional appearance commensurate with standards delineated for government civilian employees acting in similar capacities and be easily recognized as Contractor personnel (e.g., badges, uniforms, etc.).
Shall perform other duties as assigned or required by Management.
High school Diploma or equivalent.
Minimum five (5) years of experience.
Valid driver’s license, must be U.S. citizen with valid U.S. Passport.
Ability to fluently read, write, and speak English.
Have a current DOD Secret Security Clearance.
Prior military experience preferred
Experience working with diverse cultures and various trade skills in an austere, hazardous environment is preferred.
